A Full Belly

I am in the process of reading the Quran. I read heretical doctrine for the sole purpose of knowing for fact what they teach. This allows me to teach my people why we are not ecumenical. I have thoroughly studied the Catholics, Methodists, Pentecosts, and Assemblies of God. These four mainstream religions do not adhere to the biblical plan of salvation. Therefore the before mentioned label of “heretical” is certainly applicable.

Although these mainstream religions are heretical, they, in print, all teach kindness to other people. This is where Islam separates itself. I have never read anything so full of hatred. In the Quran, Muslims are commanded to kill Jews and Christians. This mandate is not a one-time mentioned doctrine delicately hidden away between lines, but rather it is plainly proclaimed hundreds of times.

The term “radical Muslims” is what has my belly begging my mouth for another round of Rolaids. These people who are killing others in the name of Allah are not “radical”. They are following the prescribed behavior laid out for them in their instruction manual…the Quran. Today’s media outlets would have us believe that most Muslims are decent peace-loving people and that these killers are extremists who have perverted their peaceful religion. The truth is that a Quran believing Muslim should kill every one of us when they have the opportunity.

Do I believe that some people identify with Islam (because of cultural heritage) and remain decent people…yes. Just as some people claim to be Baptist yet have no idea what Baptists believe. But anyone who claims to believe the Quran and practice Islam should be expelled from our country. In a civilized society, a person who believes in killing another simply because of a different theological view, should not be allowed refuge.

I am amazed that this country, that I love, has sunk to the point where she is at today. Jews, Christians and heterosexual white people are sitting ducks in the pond of the Political Correctness Police Department’s pond…and its duck season. The accusations are not tempered and almost every social woe is attributed to one of these groups. But if anyone dares to say anything against the ills of a minority or against the beloved Muslims then problems are sure to come.

I, for one, have a belly full of everything being my fault. I am a white man who believes the Word of God. The Bible teaches that homosexuality is a sin…I believe it. The Bible teaches that any sexual activity outside the bounds of marriage is a sin…I believe it. The Bible teaches that a man should work for a living (or not eat)…I believe it. The Bible teaches that I, as a child of God, should love even my enemy…I believe it, because he needs to be saved. The Bible teaches that I should obey the laws of the land…I believe it.

Since it is against the law for me to holler “fire” in a crowded theater, I won’t do it. It will cause a state of panic in which someone is likely to be injured. Since it is against the law to incite a riot, I won’t to it. I do not think an unruly mob is the answer to every problem. You see, we are a civilized people who do not look to violence as the first answer to every problem.

So if you are a peaceful Muslim who has never read the Quran….Read it! If you do not believe it denounce your religion. If you agree with it, and you feel it to be your duty to kill me, I hope that someday you realize your need for Jesus as Savior. Until then, get out of our country!

I think you might start receiving hate mail. Good post.

Agreed....and some Muslims point out that Islam is growing worldwide. How can it not grow when free countries allow Muslims to practice their religion, while Islamic countries DO NOT allow Christians to practice theirs?

Have you finished reading through it?

Remember, Muhammad wrote this throughout different points of his power-struggle. While attempting to control the people of his army/religion, he changed it as need be. There are many places in the Koran/Qurran which teach peace (even with "The People of the Book". These "People of the Book" are both Christians and Jews. In many places, it states the Muslim is to leave us alone and let God deal with us. To let Him alone be the judge of us.

Yet in other places, probably during times of war, you see the hatred and stirring to strife needed to spur on the armies of Islam.

Because of these contradictions, you have the different sects and different books of interpretation. The majority of Islamists do not follow the murderous portion, but the peaceful portion allowing for God to deal with the People of the Book. Remember, these commentaries for interpretation were written by people who knew Muhammad supposedly.

So anyway, it is funny that it even says something to the effect of "When you come across a contradiction, don't ask my prophet Muhammad. He is only the messenger." He even knew he had to make some form of "divine" message to cover his tracks.

And yet, with ALL these contradictions, isn't it amazing that people still believe it?

I close asking you this, Brother Mike. Can you tell (via grammar) that this was written by a man totally uneducated in language? The book's statement of authenticity, that none can produce another like it, will ALWAYS go unchallenged by anyone with a 1st grade reading and writing level, because even children have better grammar than that.

Why, Bro. James, it almost sounds like you are defending this religion.

Not at all. I'm trying to be unbiased and fair as possible. It is a vile, and filthy, ungodly and persuasive religion. One that holds as many believers (in it) as Catholicism. It is, therefore, extremely dangerous. I have considered moving to New York and trying to preach the gospel to the Muslim communities.

Anyway, that out of the way, the entire thing I was saying was that Muhammad wrote whatever suited him at the moment. Sometimes it was "leave the People of the Book (Christians or Jews) alone and let God judge them" while at other times it was "leave no infidel living, man woman or child".

It is because of these contradictions that there are sects/divisions that rather believe or place faith in the commentaries of that particular sect rather than the Koran itself.

The majority of these are the sect that adheres to the former commentary teaching. While I do not defend them (as they are sending people to Hell), I am not biased enough to believe and spread lies about them.

FOR THE RECORD: Islam is a persuasive religion that teaches peace and prosperity as they see it (due to the portions in the Koran which teach it and due to the commentaries in which they truly place faith). This is the vast majority of this religion. It is, therefore, an extreme enemy of Christ and all we believe.

it is shameful that you spread such hateful misinformation while claiming to be christian.

we can all do well to heed the admonition of the quran:
(005:008)
O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just, that is next to piety and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

in deed, there is no better way to understand what islam truly teaches than to return to its primary source, the quran. this is specially true if you plan on preaching to the muslims. perhaps you have picked up some twisted translation of the quran. you do not have to, and you should not, accept what khany or mike or 'moderate muslim' or 'radical muslim' have to say regarding the contents of the quran when the book is accessible to you directly at a single click. i recommend the following websites for translations. they contain several english translations by different translators (both muslim and non-muslim) so through the agreement of the many translations you can satisfy yourself that the translations are accurate.

james:
regarding contradictions, the quran has to say the following:
(004.082)
Will they not then ponder on the Qur'an? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein many an inner contradiction.

muhammad was commanded to say:
(010.015)
But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come)."

inimitability of the quran:
some of the elements that make this book unique are listed on the following website.

Wow Brother Mike, you are popular. Mr. Khany, let me ask you a question. Why do you believe allah allowed man to pervert his first revelations given, and then his revelations given to Jesus Christ and the apostles, but then made sure the newer Qur'an would not be perverted? Was he not the same allah before who he is now?
